MacGyver
Michael produced the original iconic MacGyver series from 1986-1992 and won many awards including: The Environmental Media’s Continuing Commitment Award, a Vision Award, a Golden Reel Award, and TV Week’s People’s Choice Award. MacGyver went off the air on ABC with a 23 share.
1992- Producer-In The Eyes of a Stranger
1994 Producer– MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis
Michael filmed two highly rated MacGyver movies on location in London for ABC television. MacGyver: The Lost Treasure Of Atlantis, and MacGyver: Trail To Doomsday.

Michael also produced the critically acclaimed Legend, a quirky western adventure series set in 1876 which starred Rick as Ernest Pratt, an inked-stained wretch of a dime novelist who, reluctantly assumed the role of his own fictitious literary hero Nicodemus Legend. A Legend remake is always in development.
1996– Executive Producer: Firehouse
Michael produced Firehouse, a CBS pilot about a rescue fire station in the Soho area of Manhattan. Michael and Rick produced Firehouse with Tom Fontana (Homicide, Oz) on location in New York. It turned out to be five years ahead of its time.

Stargate SG-1
Michael, and his production partner Richard Dean Anderson, operating under their production company banner Gekko Film Corp, together with MGM Worldwide Television, produced their decade long hit series Stargate SG-1. Stargate SG-1 premiered on Showtime during the summer of 1997 and continued on the Syfy Network, Fox syndication, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Stargate SG-1 continues to air in over a hundred countries throughout the world.
2004- Executive Producer-Stargate: Atlantis Rising
Michael also produced Stargate Atlantis: Rising, the two-hour premiere spin-off pilot of Stargate SG-1. The two Stargate series were the highest rated shows in the history of the Syfy Network.
2006-2012- Score Productions: Executive Producer
Michael was the Executive Producer of Score Productions Inc. (2007-2012), a wholly owned subsidiary of Score Media Inc. Score Media’s main asset was The Score Television Network, a sports network available across Canada. Score Media also operated The Score Radio Network, which was available across North America on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, and other interactive assets including theScore.com and the highly popular Score Mobile App.
